The Burns Wedding...

Sammi and Olly gathered at Bakery 105 in Wilmington, NC this spring to celebrate their love and the start of their forever together. Every detail was special. From Sammi wearing her mother's wedding dress and the subtle flower arrangements and bouquet charms honoring her, you could feel the meaning even if you couldn't articulate what it was. Olly's friends and family flew over from across the pond (a few of them even had their first face to face meeting with Olly at his wedding!) while he wore a custom suit with his family's tartan decorating the stunning fabric. After saying their vows under a tent shielding them from the rain, the clouds broke and the sun came out just in time for us to sneak away for their gorgeous portraits. I photographed this wedding to reflect a film aesthetic and timeless look, a mix of documentary and editorial style. It was a day that I would photography over and over and I am so humbled to get to be a small part of it all.
